Each media outlet is permitted to bring one (1) vehicle to NIOSH. Parking passes will be distributed during on-site registration.

Airport

The Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) is the closest major airport and is about a 40-minute drive to NIOSH. PIT has non-stop service on 16 airlines to various destinations throughout the United States and abroad.

Driving Directions

NIOSH is approximately 11.5 miles south of Pittsburgh. It can be reached by Pennsylvania Route 51 South, Saw Mill Run Boulevard, or Pennsylvania Route 885 South.

Driving from Pittsburgh:

- Take PA-51 S to Old Clairton Road in Pleasant Hills
- Merge onto PA-51 S/Saw Mill Run Boulevard via the ramp to Uniontown
- Turn right onto Old Clairton Road
- Turn right onto W Bruceton Road
- Turn left onto Cochrans Mill Road
- Destination is on your right
