Lightning Talks & Teaming
Interested attendees are welcome to augment their Proposers Day participation by presenting a lighting talk and/or submitting a teaming profile. Attendees may schedule a lightning talk (3 minutes) to present a one-slide PowerPoint summary of interests and capabilities (Attachment 1 – lightning talk template) during Proposers Day; presentations consisting of multiple slides or that do not use the provided template will not be granted a time slot. Lightning talk submissions will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until time constraints are met. Lightning talk submissions are restricted to those attending the physical meeting. Attendees interested in teaming are encouraged to submit a one-page profile describing: (1) their technical competencies and facility capabilities as they relate to the program and (2) the technical competencies they seek from potential teammates (Attachment 2 – teaming profile template). Profiles consisting of multiple pages or that do not use the provided template will not be included in the programmatic materials.
All presentation and profiles must be emailed to DARPA-SN-20-18@darpa.mil no later than 12:00 PM ET on December 27, 2019. After Proposers Day, the lightning talk presentations and teaming profiles will be made accessible to the proposer community on the AWE program website. No proprietary information should be included in the lightning talk presentations or the teaming profiles.
Specific content, communications, networking, and team formation are the sole responsibility of the participants. Neither DARPA nor the Department of Defense (DoD) endorses the documents submitted, nor does DARPA or DoD exercise any responsibility for improper dissemination of information provided in profiles or presentations.
