Join us for our December webinar featuring Dr. Jessica Liba of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Army Research Laboratory in Adelphi, Maryland, who will discuss her revolutionary work in engineering biohybrid technologies for Army-relevant applications. Her research excellence in the demonstration of a first-of-kind fieldable bioelectronic communication system has advanced the Army’s readiness for the incorporation of embedded “biological intelligence” in ecological settings, wearable interfaces, and in vivo environments, potentially with Internet-of-BioNano-Things-type networking. In parallel, Dr. Liba’s establishment of unique cellulose biofabrication capabilities is enabling new technology developments across multiple DoD application areas, resulting in recent multi-million-dollar investments through the DoD Manufacturing Technology and Tri-Service Biotechnology for a Resilient Supply Chain programs.
