Event Description
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) will host the BTO Innovation Opportunity Fair (BIO Fair) event for prospective proposers in Tysons, Virginia. Through hosting the BIO Fair event, BTO aims to: (1) familiarize participants with BTO's mission and interest areas; (2) facilitate discussions with potential proposers; (3) increase the efficiency of proposal preparation and evaluation; and (4) foster a new performer networking.
This meeting will be held at the Unclassified level. All in-person attendees are required to present government-issued photo identification upon entry to the event.
Event Registration and Fees
In-Person participation:
Maximum of (3) participants per entity
Limit of 300 in-person participants
Registration fee: $150 per person (includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, all-day beverage station, and a portion of meeting room rental)
Virtual participation:
Maximum of (5) participants per entity
Limit of 1,000 virtual participants
No registration fee
All participants are required to register in advance for either in-person or virtual. Registration must be completed by Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET. Due to venue requirements, late registrations cannot be accommodated.
Foreign Nationals
All registrants who are not U.S. Citizens must complete and submit either a DARPA eForm 60 (U.S. Permanent Resident and Foreign National Visit Request) or an Official Visit Request (foreign government personnel, only) through the Embassy based in Washington, DC, no later than Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 5:00 PM EST.
eForm 60 submission instructions will be provided in the registration confirmation email. Contact your Embassy staff for assistance in submitting the Official Visit Request.
NOTE: As part of the eForm 60 submission, foreign nationals must upload the following documents: photo page of a valid, unexpired passport AND current U.S. visa or Permanent Resident card.
